Now in 2026 Meinte 490 has also been welcomed permanently back to the US by Black Pearl Friesians and Miley Friesians. He is sired by the great Beart 411 Sport Preferent, one of the youngest stallions ever to be declared preferent by the KFPS. Beart 411 has excelled in breeding for years and has been Champion or Reserve Champion of stallion inspections several times.Beart 411 passed on his luxury size, breed type and strong stride to Meinte 490 who boasts a very High breeding value for movement, especially the walk. Meinte 490 is a very luxurious, breed-typical stallion with abundant feathering and a deep black color.  He stands out for his excellent conformation and beautifully shaped neck.  Meinte 490 also has excellent legs. Meinte 490's dam is the highly successful preferent mare Boukje C, a daughter of the renowned sire Anton 343 Preferent. She has already produced 11 star offspring and is a double preferent (a crown jewel). Paired with Beart, she produced 9 star-worthy offspring, including  Meinte 490 . Boukje C was named Horse of the Year 2021 for her outstanding breeding performance! This mare represents lineage 15, one of the studbook's best lines. In sport, Meinte 490 performs very well. In dressage, he competed in the Light Tour (which earned him the Sport – Elite predicate) and more recently has been very successful on the Heavy Tour (I1).Meinte 490's offspring  possess breed elegance, and presence.
